From the travel diary of Michael Fischer-Art: Michael Fischer-Art, visionary, artist, designer and author from Leipzig wants to make the world more colorful. In his visual language, he uses rich colors, large surfaces, simple structures and comic-like “muppets,” which creates a high recognition value.
As a member of the Board of Trustees, he supports the Nepalmed Foundation, which was established in May 2020, and agreed to colorfully paint the new children’s ward of the hospital in Kirtipur in the Kathmandu Valley in his distinctive style.
In February 2022, a group from the Leipzig-based Nepalmed Foundation toured the second poorest country in South Asia. With the participation of fellow travelers, doctors, nurses, parents and 40 kg of paint, his designs were implemented. Together with the Nepalese artist Sadhu X, the wall of the children’s ward was also designed, an inspiring cultural exchange for all.
