An eventful six months lie behind us! Since our last newsletter in June, we have once again reached important milestones and made a lasting improvement to the lives of many people in Nepal.
Here's what we've achieved together:
🏗️ New building
The dining room at Phera School is now complete. Here, the 56 children currently enrolled can enjoy their meals in peace and have a communal space where all classes can come together.

The new laboratory building for the Cardiology & Diabetes Center in Lahan is also progressing rapidly. It is scheduled for completion in September. Nepalmed is supporting the project by purchasing the laboratory equipment.
🎯 Promoting inclusion
One highlight was the handover of office technology to the Nepalese Association for the Blind. Printers, scanners, and copiers—including special paper for blind people—now provide barrier-free access to important documents and information. A big step toward greater independence.
🤝 Strengthening our network
At the German-Nepalese Society's Nepal Day we were able to forge new partnerships and reconnect with previous collaborators. We are already looking forward to working together in 2026.
On Instagram (@nepalmed_stiftung), we regularly share insights into our work in Nepal and now reach a growing number of interested people. Around 2000 people read this newsletter.
Looking ahead: Nepalmed already works on new projects, such as a mobile mammography-bus (read more) together with ANMF. Current and new fundraising appeals are on the website.
Your ongoing support makes all this progress possible. Together, we continue to build bridges between Germany and Nepal—for better healthcare and a better quality of life.
Thank you very much for your trust, support and loyalty!
