The introduction of mobile mammography in the Chitwan district in Nepal’s Terai region aims to diagnose breast cancer as early as possible. Women who are particularly underserved are to be given access to mammography screening. With your support, we would like to raise €100,000 to 1. purchase a mobile mammography truck, 2. introduce breast cancer screening programs in community centers, local clinics, and schools in the Chitwan district, 3. promote participation in mammography screening, and 4. improve the prevention of advanced-stage breast cancer.
Together against breast cancer: Your help counts!
Dear supporters, our project partner, the America Nepal Medical Foundation (ANMF), has been working for years to improve medical care in Nepal. In collaboration with the B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital, we are planning a mobile mammography project in Chitwan district to provide underserved women with access to vital breast cancer screenings.

- to promote the prevention of advanced breast cancer.
Why is this project important?
Breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer among women worldwide. Early detection through regular mammography screening can significantly increase the chances of survival. However, in rural areas of Nepal, many women do not have access to such screening. The mobile mammography program will close this gap and help detect and treat breast cancer in its early stages.
