⛑️ Nepalmed – Update Sturzflut
🇩🇪 Die Schlagzeilen zur Flut in Rasuwa sind leiser geworden. Unsere Arbeit vor Ort nicht: Der Nepalmed-Kalender 2027 unterstützt sie direkt.
Vor Kurzem hat die Dorfgemeinschaft gemeinsam mit der Schule das Wasserprojekt feierlich in Empfang genommen.
Lange hatten die Menschen dort kein verlässliches Trinkwasser. Jetzt ist die Erleichterung groß.
Das Projekt dauerte länger als geplant, vor allem wegen der Monsunzeit und schwierigem Wetter. Thile, unser Projektpartner vor Ort, schrieb uns dazu:
„Im Namen der Gemeinschaft möchte ich Nepalmed in Deutschland aufrichtig danken, für die wertvolle Unterstützung, die dieses Projekt möglich gemacht hat. Die Menschen sind außerordentlich glücklich und dankbar. Vielen Dank für Ihre fortwährende Unterstützung und Ihr Engagement für unsere Gemeinschaft.“

🇬🇧 In Chargare, Solukhumbu, clean water now runs through the new pipes. 💦
The community and the local school recently held the official handover of the project.
For years, people here had no reliable drinking water. The relief is real.
The project took longer than planned, mostly due to the monsoon and difficult weather. Thile, our partner on the ground, wrote to us:
"On behalf of the community, I want to sincerely thank Nepalmed in Germany for the valuable support that made this project possible. The people are extremely happy and grateful. Thank you for your continued support and commitment to our community."

Zwölf Monate, zwölf Wege durch Nepal: Jeden Monat stellen wir eine andere Trekkingroute vor, die wir digital erweitern. Die Fotos im Kalender stammen von der Community: Viele haben beim Fotoaufruf mitgemacht und ihre Nepal-Bilder geschickt, vielen Dank dafür! Bild und Trekkingroute des Monats gehören allerdings nicht zusammen: Jedes Foto steht für sich.
📅 Der Kalender bringt zwölf großformatige Fotos und viel Platz für Termine mit, im Format A2 aufgeklappt (42 x 29 cm), für 15 Euro zzgl. Versand.
Auch wenn die Schlagzeilen leiser werden: Der Kalender hängt zwölf Monate an der Wand und erinnert uns an die Menschen und die Natur Nepals.

🇬🇧 Headlines about the Rasuwa flood have quieted down. Our work on the ground hasn't: the Nepalmed 2027 calendar supports it directly.
Its proceeds support our projects in Nepal, from hospitals in Kathmandu and Kirtipur via the Matrika Eye Center to health posts in Solukhumbu and the Gorkha Heritage Trek. Those who'd rather donate directly can find the way at nepalmed.de/spenden.
Twelve months, twelve routes through Nepal: each month, we introduce a different trekking route that we expand digitally. The photos in the calendar come from the community: many joined our photo call and sent in their Nepal images, thank you! The photo and the month's trekking route aren't connected, though: each image stands on its own.
📅 The calendar comes with twelve large-format photos and plenty of space for dates, in A2 format folded out (42 x 29 cm), for 15 Euro plus shipping.
Even as the headlines quiet down: the calendar hangs on the wall for twelve months and reminds us of Nepal's people and nature.
