In remote regions of Nepal, many women have no access to basic medical care. Simple, treatable complaints such as polyps or prolapses of the uterus often go undetected – with serious consequences for health. Together we can change this!
Our Goal
In a three-day gynaecological camp, 1,000 women will be examined and treated. The camp will be held in 3 districts in the Baitadi district. The region is about 833 kilometres from Kathmandu. The camp will be held in early to mid-March. It will focus on:
- Early detection and treatment of polyps and fibroids
- Diagnosis and treatment of uterine prolapse
